It's a very simple assignment: one paragraph, defined as two sentences relevant to each other, that describes what was learned during the school year. Two sentences, because even the teacher has senioritis and can't be bothered. And yet, for Phoenix McCartwright, or whatever his last name is, is finding this assignment difficult. It's almost as if he's learned nothing at all this year. Well, that's not true. He learned school things, and memorized them, and then promptly forgot about them after writing them down on tests.
And he did learn things outside of school, but Phoenix doesn't think he should write those down. For example, he learned t
